Essential Requirement

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above (essential)

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery
  • Ensure all children receive rich, stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Develop open, positive, and professional working relationships with staff
  • Support, supervise, train, and appraise staff to ensure high-quality childcare practice
  • Support the Nursery Manager to identify training needs, develop training plans, and evaluate training outcomes
  • Assist in delivering agreed occupancy targets
  • Maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents, and carers
  • Support the Nursery Manager in ensuring all complaints and concerns are resolved promptly and escalated to the Regional Manager where required
