Location: Guildford and surrounding areas

Pay: £14.62 – £17.48 per hour

Bank Holidays: Up to £30.39 per hour

Mileage: 50p per mile paid

Own car and full driving licence essential

Previous care experience desirable

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Community Care Workers to join a well-established care provider supporting people in their own homes across Guildford and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support in service users' own homes
  • Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required
  • Supporting with medication in line with care plans and training
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where needed
  • Supporting service users with daily routines and household tasks
  • Encouraging independence, choice and community involvement
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in needs
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
  • Working closely with families, colleagues and other professionals
  • Following safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures
  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments and access the local community where required

About You

  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
  • Compassionate, patient and respectful approach
  • Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car essential
  • Flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays when required
