Salary: £52,000 + bonuses (OTE up to £62,200)

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to open and lead a brand-new children’s residential home in the Doncaster (DN9) area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to take full ownership of a new service and play a key role in delivering high-quality care for young people.

About the Role

You will be responsible for registering the home with Ofsted, building your team from the ground up, and ensuring the home operates to the highest possible standards. The service will support up to 4 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in a mixed-gender setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the setup and Ofsted registration of the home
  • Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated staff team
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards
  • Create a safe, stable, and supportive environment for young people
  • Drive continuous improvement and aim for an Outstanding Ofsted rating

  • On-call payments: £25 weekdays / £35 weekends

About You

  • Previous experience in a Children’s Home Manager or Deputy Manager role
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s safeguarding
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Confident leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for young people
