Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children's residential care looking for your next challenge? We are proud to be partnering with a highly reputable residential children's services provider, dedicated to supporting vulnerable children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to take full operational responsibility for a small, 2-bedded children's home in the Leatherhead area, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities of the Children’s Home Registered Manager:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the children’s home in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds standards, with a proven track record of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" OFSTED ratings
  • Provide strong leadership and management to staff, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for both the team and children
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of care staff
  • Manage budgets, rotas, care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding practices
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and therapeutic support for children with EBD

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and inspection frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • A genuine passion for making a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable young people
