Are you an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager looking to lead a high-quality children's home and make a real impact? We are recruiting for an established 4-bed children's residential home in Camden, rated Good by Ofsted, and entering an exciting phase of development. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, values-driven leader who wants the autonomy to run a home well, with the support of a committed senior leadership team.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance. You will create a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment where children and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the children's home
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a stable and skilled staff team
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed care
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a management or deputy management role within children's residential care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A resilient, child-focused approach with a genuine passion for improving lives
