We're working with schools across Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year, and they're on the lookout for a Learning Support Assistant to welcome into their schools. We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive LSA to join a welcoming school located in Bristol. This is one of those roles where no two days are the same, but every day matters.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils
- Helping children stay focused during lessons
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
