A leading food manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join their engineering team.
Working a 4-on-4-off days and nights shift pattern, you'll be responsible for driving engineering best practices across the shift, supporting the development of engineers, and maintaining high standards of engineering performance.

What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a team of Engineers and Apprentices to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Oversee the engineering performance of fast-moving production lines, ensuring equipment set-up, shut-down, and output performance meet standards.
- Ensure a safe working environment by assessing maintenance procedures and implementing best practices.
- Manage stock allocation and replacement parts in collaboration with the engineering planner and operations manager.
- Drive training and development initiatives for your team, conducting regular one-to-one meetings and agreeing on personal development plans.
- Support and lead improvement projects, ensuring high standards in workshop and factory areas.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum HNC certification or Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure and motivate teams.
- Practical hands-on engineering expertise and familiarity with process machinery.
- Desirable qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH, IEE 17th or 18th Edition, and PLC or refrigeration experience.
