At Care First Recruitment Ltd. we are currently recruiting Family Support Workers to work across West London Boroughs and the surrounding areas. This is a FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER position. We require professionals experienced working with Families (parents and children/teenagers), to support with complex cases such as Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse, Substance Abuse, Mental Health challenges, dysfunctional families, divorce and separation situations, delivering a quick turnover of very accurate written reports that will be reviewed and considered on Family Courts and may affect the outcome of a Court Hearing.
The position is available on an ad-hoc basis so weekly flexibility is key. You will be required to provide family support to families with complex needs which improves parenting capacity and support towards behaviours which cause risk to children in line with Trouble Families Framework / Early Intervention. You will be required to support parents and their children in their homes and in groups, outside of core office hours, to increase the skills, confidence and abilities of all family members to live their daily lives in a positive, productive and safe way.
