CARE FIRST RECRUITMENT LTD is recruiting compassionate and reliable Drivers and Passenger Assistants to support children and vulnerable adults travelling safely to and from schools, day centres and other locations across Central Bedfordshire, including Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and Houghton Regis. Successful candidates will be based from our Thorn depot and will work as part of a dedicated transport team providing a safe, caring and reliable door-to-door transport service.

Location: Houghton Regis/ Thorn (Central Bedfordshire)

Pay Rates:

  • Passenger Assistants: £12.46 per hour
  • D1 Licence Drivers: £14.00 per hour
  • PCV or Taxi Licence Drivers: £18.00 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Term Time)

Morning Shift: 7:00/8:00am - 10:30am

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Split shifts with weekends and evenings free.

Duties Include:

  • Safely transporting passengers to and from schools, day centres and other locations.
  • Assisting passengers on and off the vehicle.
