Support worker

Care First Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting Support Workers for temporary positions in London and Chatham We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. The Role You will support service users to maintain their independence, wellbeing, safety and quality of life, while providing practical, emotional and housing-related support. Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred support in line with individual care plans Build positive, supportive relationships with service users Assist with daily living, personal care and maintaining independence Provide practical support with housing and tenancy needs Support service users with welfare and housing benefit claims Promote equality, diversity, dignity and individual rights Recognise and report safeguarding concerns and emerging risks Support the social, emotional and mental wellbeing of service users Work professionally and maintain appropriate boundaries Complete accurate and timely reports and records Work effectively as part of a wider care and support team Essential Requirements Minimum 18 months relevant experience Experience supporting people with similar care/support needs within social care or social housing Relevant NVQ qualification or currently working towards one Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good IT, numeracy and organisational skills Ability to manage your workload and use your own initiative Flexible and reliable approach to work Ability to work effectively as part of a team DBS: Candidates must be willing to undergo the required DBS/background checks If you have the experience and are looking for temporary Support Worker opportunities, contact Care First Recruitment Ltd today.
