Contact Supervisor
Kingston upon Thames Care First Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting Contact Supervisors to work in Kingston upon Thames.

About the Role As a Contact Supervisor, you will supervise contact sessions between children and their parents or guardians.

These children may be in the care of the local authority due to safeguarding concerns.

Contact sessions may take place in a designated contact centre or within the community.

You will ensure that each session is supervised in accordance with the instructions and requirements of the local authority, with the safety and wellbeing of the child as your priority.

What You Will Do Supervise, observe and record contact sessions.

Ensure the safety and welfare of children and families throughout contact.

Take appropriate action if concerns arise and intervene when necessary.

End contact sessions where the safety or welfare of a child is at risk.

Support children and young people to manage their expectations around contact.

Write clear and comprehensive reports following each session.

Report any child protection concerns immediately in line with policies and procedures.

Work effectively as part of a team.

Attend staff or team meetings when required.

Use IT equipment to complete reports and other required documentation.

PAYE- £16 per hour What We Are Looking For You must have practical experience working with children, young people and families.

A qualification within the social care/social sector is preferred.

Applicants must also have: The right to work in the UK.

Satisfactory references covering the previous 5 years.

An Enhanced DBS.
