Main duties of the job

• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey from answering queries to offering reassurance and emotional support when it matters most.
• Assisting consultations by taking vital signs such as height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Preparing procedure rooms, assisting with treatments, and chaperoning consultants during ultrasounds and other procedures.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring data is entered correctly and securely.
• Collaborating with the clinical team to provide a seamless, supportive, and positive patient experience.
• Developing your skills through training in cannulation and theatre assistance to advance your healthcare career.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care

Experience

You're an experienced Healthcare Assistant (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care) with a genuine passion for patient care. You bring:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; you're approachable, empathetic, and professional in every interaction.
