As a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred fertility care while contributing to service development and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with and assessing patients to plan and deliver fertility treatments
- Undertaking procedures including egg collections, embryo transfers, and related treatments (within competence)
- Managing emergency assessments and providing clinical advice where required
- Communicating effectively with patients, GPs, referrers and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring appropriate consent processes are followed prior to treatment
- Participating in rota arrangements including weekend and on-call cover
- Supporting patient information events and education initiatives
- Contributing to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and service development across the clinic and wider organisation
