We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Ledger Assistant to support the effective running of our sales ledger function. This role is key to ensuring accurate billing, timely income collection, and strong management of customer accounts across the organisation. You will bring a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, with the ability to manage high volumes of financial data accurately and efficiently. You will confidently handle patient and B2B billing, reconcile accounts, and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve queries and improve processes.

A strong customer focus is essential, as you will interact with patients, clinics, insurers, and third-party providers, ensuring queries are handled professionally and sensitively. You will also demonstrate excellent organisational skills, enabling you to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who embraces continuous improvement, is comfortable using finance systems and digital tools, and contributes positively to a collaborative team culture aligned with our values.

You have experience in a finance or sales ledger role, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. You’re a confident communicator, comfortable managing sensitive information, and able to build positive working relationships. You’re organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Ideally, you’ll have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be working towards or keen to develop your finance qualifications.

Key Details:

  • Location: Care Fertility Nottingham, John Webster House, Business Park, 6 Lawrence Dr, Nottingham NG8 6PZ
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between 08:00 - 17:00
