About the Role
Care Fertility is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fertility Nurse or Registered Practitioner to join our Donation team. This is a rare chance to specialise in the areas of donation and surrogacy, supporting a wide range of patient pathways including egg and embryo recipients, shared motherhood arrangements, known donors, surrogacy cases and altruistic donors. This hybrid role offers autonomy in clinical practice alongside close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital part in delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care across the donor and recipient journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver assessments, consultations and treatment planning for donation and surrogacy patients
- Coordinate treatment cycles and oversee clinical elements of the patient pathway
- Complete folliculograms (FG) and screening sign-off in line with competency
- Prescribe and manage treatment medication (following training and protocols)
- Provide injection teaching and ongoing clinical support to patients
- Respond to clinical queries and escalate appropriately to the medical team
- Ensure high standards of consent, documentation and medicines management
- Promote infection prevention, safeguarding practices and patient safety
- Participate in audits, CPD and ongoing professional development
- Contribute positively to team-working and uphold Care Fertility's values of Compassion, Collaboration and Expertise
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is registered with the NMC.
- Has experience in fertility care and strong general clinical skills
- Can prioritise effectively and deliver safe, holistic patient-centred care
- Is committed to continuous learning and delivering high-quality patient experience
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Is motivated to develop specialist expertise within donation and surrogacy
