Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with participation in out-of-hours/on-call rotas as required by the service.

We’re delighted to share an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced colleague to join Care Fertility London as Deputy Nursing and Clinical Professionals Manager on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

You'll work closely with the Nursing and Clinical Professionals Manager and wider leadership team, helping to deliver exceptional, safe and compassionate care in line with Care Fertility's values.

About The Role

As Deputy Nursing and Clinical Professionals Manager, you will support the day-to-day leadership, coordination and development of the nursing and clinical professional teams.

You will also deputise in the Manager's absence and act as a key member of the clinic leadership team.

  • Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Supporting the operational management of clinical areas, including theatre and recovery.
  • Supporting staffing, rota planning and workforce management.
  • Providing line management support, including appraisals, coaching and development.
  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care and supporting treatment journeys.
  • Supporting governance, audit, compliance and regulatory standards (HFEA, CQC and NMC).
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to service development.
  • Supporting patient communication, education and emotional care throughout treatment.
  • Mentoring and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.

About You

  • Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Experienced clinical professional with strong leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledgeable in clinical governance, quality standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident in managing teams, driving performance and supporting development.
  • Compassionate, resilient and an excellent communicator.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
