Phoenix Care Staff are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in providing high-quality care to our clients around the Birmingham area. Phoenix is a family run business, which seeks to provide the best quality of carers to a wide variety of those clients. Experience is required for this position; however 24/7 staff support and refresher training is provided if needed.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Providing support with meals and drinks, including meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
- Monitoring residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the registered nurse.
- Assisting with moving and positioning residents safely.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and other members of the care team.
- Following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
