Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant Role:
• To ensure that instructions by those above you are followed at all times and in the correct manner for the safety of the resident/s. Equally you must ensure that any instruction you give is carried out accordingly.
• To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents.
• To ensure the administration of medication is given etc.
Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:
• A kind and caring person
• Previous experience in administering medication that is required
• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
