Care Practitioner (Nights). Dalton Court Care Home
Hourly rate: £13.25 per hour
Shift pattern: 3 nights per week, 8pm – 8am
Contracted hours: 33 per week

We’re proud to also offer palliative and end-of-life care, along with flexible respite stays, tailored to support individuals and families when they need it most.

Dalton Court has been carefully designed to feel like home – warm, welcoming, and inclusive. We are looking for caring, compassionate Night Care Practitioners who will support our residents and contribute to the overall smooth-running of the home during the night.
As a Night Care Practitioner at our home, your role may involve:
Completing required training to deliver excellent care
Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene
Providing reassurance and companionship to residents, especially those who may need additional support during the night
Monitoring and responding to residents\’ needs, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the night
Undertaking light domestic tasks in collaboration with the Housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the home
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth evening and morning handovers

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’. Advertised pay rate is for shifts worked from 1st April 2025.
