We are currently working in partnership with an established and highly reputable residential childcare provider that operates multiple homes across West Sussex and London. Due to continued growth, they are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take operational leadership of one of their services in Bognor Regis. The Role:
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding are consistently delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full operational management of a children’s residential home
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Quality Standards
- Leading, supervising, and developing the staff team
- Embedding strong safeguarding practices across the service
- Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and placement stability
- Managing staffing rotas, performance, and operational efficiency
- Building strong working relationships with local authorities and external professionals
- Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and reporting
About You:
We are looking for an experienced and confident leader within children’s residential care who is ready to take full ownership of a service.
You will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
- Previous experience in a managerial or Deputy Manager capacity
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a staff team
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
