We're looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of our specialist residential children's homes in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation where safeguarding, therapeutic care, and positive outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic, and person-centred care for children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
- Lead and manage a children's residential service supporting young people with Learning Disabilities and EBD
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements, and relevant legislation
- Promote positive outcomes through structured, therapeutic approaches
- Support, mentor, and develop staff teams to deliver exceptional care
- Maintain high standards of care, behaviour management, and documentation
- Foster a positive, child-centred culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and development
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children's residential services (LD/EBD experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or currently working towards)
- Experience supporting young people with behaviours that may challenge
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people
