School Staffing Solutions are supporting a very reputable Day Nursery near Leatherhead, Surrey. We are looking to recruit two qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join this friendly and well-established nursery. The nursery has been operating successfully for more than 20 years and benefits from excellent staff retention, a supportive working environment and a strong reputation within the local community. Due to increasing demand, the nursery has recently expanded and opened two new classrooms.
The role
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Support children’s development in line with the EYFS
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment
- Complete observations and contribute to children’s learning records
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Have previous experience working within a nursery setting
- Understand the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Be caring, reliable and passionate about working with children
