- Minimum 6 months' hands-on experience working in a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
- Confidence providing personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and supporting residents with daily living activities.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach, with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention and control, dignity and person-centred care.
- Ability to adapt confidently to different care environments and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and families.
- Reliable, punctilious and able to work independently using your initiative.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training and maintain up-to-date compliance requirements.
- Legal right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
