Location: Orchard Court, Weymouth; Digby Court, Dorchester & Dorchester Road
- £12.86 - £13.08 per hour (days)
- 0-hour contract available
- £38.20 per sleep-in (Dorchester Road only)
- Sleep-in nights required (Dorchester Road only)

This role will be part of a team supporting Adults with a Learning Disability and/or Autism who are living in the community. Our Supported Living services in Weymouth & Dorchester offer accommodation and support 24 hours a day 365 days a year. This role will be a 0-hour position with the requirement to support with the option of picking up extra shifts when available.
Digby Court & Orchard Court: Digby & Orchard Court are Supported Living services based between Weymouth & Dorchester. These services allow adults who need some support to live within their own homes (fully fitted flats) without the need to move into a retirement home. Supported Living includes the benefit of support in any areas of their day-to-day lives that they require. We can support with anything from Personal Care to food preparation to household chores.
Dorchester Road: There are four people living in the service aged between 18-25. Our role is to support them with a variety of hobbies and interests that they enjoy ranging from arts and crafts, cooking, swimming, shopping, watching sports and socialising with family and friends. We will also be helping them in looking not just at employment opportunities but also furthering their independent living.
About You
Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.
- A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle for work purposes is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
