Reablement Assistant – Blandford area (£1000 WELCOME BONUS)

Location: Blandford Forum (covering Blandford, with occasional travel to Dorchester and Wimborne)

We are Care Dorset UK. We are looking for a Reablement Assistant to join our team in the Blandford area. This role focuses on helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. We are a people-focused, genuine, and integrity-driven team that values development and collaboration.

Benefits

  • £12.86 – £13.08 per hour weekdays
  • Enhanced pay for weekends
  • Full-time, part-time, weekends available
  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile

About the Role

Each day as a Reablement Assistant is different. You will be supporting people within their own homes in rebuilding their confidence and independence, as well as assisting in achieving their personal goals.

About You

Previous experience as a Care Assistant/Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibile to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • A full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes
