A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Out of hours Telephone Operative to join our dynamic Out of Hours Domiciliary team in Cardiff. We offer highly competitive pay rates, paid DBS disclosure, full training and ongoing support.

Care Cymru provides almost 10,700 hours of care and support each week to some 775 people from our six branches and head office. We employ more than 600 care staff and office‑based staff across several towns and cities.

As a member of the team you will be responsible for the out of hours service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day operation of the service.
• Maintain an excellent professional telephone manner.
• Assist with maintenance of records in written or computerised format as specified in procedures.
• Deal promptly and appropriately with any complaints received.
• Be sociable, flexible and a committed individual.
• Liaise with managers, staff members and service users within our Domiciliary offices across Wales.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
• Shifts required: Weekdays – 6:00 am – 9:00 am and 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm; Weekends – various shifts between 6:00 am – 10:00 pm.
