Main duties of the job
Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with exact assessments and assuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. You will manage the HCPs ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately. Acting as management, you will work as part of an integrated team with the Clinical lead and Lead senior to ensure that the local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the Forces specific needs.

Job responsibilities
Progression: Up to £49,000 once all professional development pathway training is passed following assessments. Refer a friend and receive £500.
Person Specification
Qualifications: You will be a qualified RN Adult, RMN's (with dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics. Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience, 3 years post qualification experience in General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service as an Adult RN. 3 years UK residency. You will need a current manual driving license with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals. All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
