As Deputy Manager, you’ll be a key part of the home’s leadership team, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure clinical excellence, lead by example on the floor, and provide mentorship and support to our team of dedicated carers and nurses. What you’ll be doing: You’ll balance your time between delivering hands-on care and overseeing the clinical governance of the home. Whether it’s auditing care plans, supporting with training, liaising with external professionals, or stepping in during emergencies, you’ll be a calm, confident presence always keeping residents’ wellbeing as your top priority. You’ll also play a vital role in building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues alike creating a warm, open culture where people feel heard, respected, and supported.
