Our 80-bed home provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a warm and compassionate environment. As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a central role in making that happen. This is a home where your voice matters. Where your clinical judgement is respected. You’ll work alongside an experienced Home Manager and a supportive senior team who understand that great care starts with great leadership. What you’ll be trusted to do:
- You’ll lead from the front, creating a culture where clinical excellence and kindness go hand in hand.
- Your responsibilities will include supporting and developing the nursing team, overseeing care planning and clinical governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care, and helping maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
- You will divide your time between hands-on nursing and protected supernumerary hours, as well as being part of the on-call rota allowing you to guide the team, strengthen clinical practice, and ensure the home continues to deliver safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
- You will be the clinical anchor of the service supporting nurses and carers, overseeing care standards, and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission and continuously improve the service.
- Your presence will be visible, supportive, and reassuring to residents, families, and your team alike.
- You will deputise in the Home Manager’s absence, providing stability, confidence, and leadership.
- Your influence will help shape standards, strengthen practice, and support the continued success of the home.
