As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a central role in making that happen. This is a leadership role where you can truly make a difference. - Support and develop the nursing team, oversee care planning and clinical governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care.
- Help maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
- Divide your time between hands-on nursing and protected supernumerary hours, as well as being part of the on-call rota.
- Guide the team, strengthen clinical practice, and ensure the home continues to deliver safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
- Be the clinical anchor of the service supporting nurses and carers, overseeing care standards, and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission.
- Deputise in the Home Manager's absence, providing stability, confidence, and leadership.
What we offer in return:
- £55,000 per annum
- NMC Paid
- Pension scheme
- Paid DBS
- Uniform provided
- On-site parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- Ongoing training, development and career progression including access to the Leadership Programme.
Who this role will suit:
You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with experience in elderly care and a genuine passion for leading others. You will take pride in high clinical standards, feel confident supporting complex care needs, and enjoy mentoring and developing your team. You will bring calm leadership, sound clinical judgement, and a natural ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues. Above all, you will care deeply about your profession, your team, and the people you support.
