Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

Domestic Assistant Contract: £12.71 per hour, contracted to 40 hours per week, weekend work required. Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking. 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).

Role Overview: As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia and mental health conditions. Your work will support the overall wellbeing of residents, helping to create a calm and welcoming space where they feel safe and at home. You will carry out cleaning duties across residents' rooms, communal areas and shared spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control are maintained at all times. Working closely with the wider team, you will support a well organised environment and contribute to the smooth running of the home. This role requires attention to detail, reliability and a respectful approach, recognising the importance of maintaining dignity and privacy while working within residents' personal spaces.
