Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset.
The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.
Cook Contract £12.71 per hour Bank contract Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) No late evenings or split shifts, offering a consistent working pattern and genuine work life balance, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities.
Role Overview As Cook, you will play an important role within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs by preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life.
You will prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, including modified or specialist diets where required, ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
Working with fresh ingredients, you will support menu planning and contribute to a varied and balanced dining experience.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
