As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times. This hands‑on role requires practical skills and a proactive approach to support the safety, comfort and overall environment. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep, ensuring equipment and systems are safe and efficient, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.

Working closely with the Home Manager and the wider team, you will support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination where required, maintaining a safe and fully functional environment in line with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
  • Good knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
