Limewood Care Home is a purpose built service in Stafford, providing specialist dementia, nursing and respite care for 59 residents. The home offers a structured and supportive environment for individuals with complex health needs, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.
As a Maintenance Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the upkeep, safety and presentation of the home within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. This is a key leadership role where your organisation, technical knowledge and proactive approach will directly impact safety, compliance and daily experience.
You will oversee all maintenance activities across the building and grounds, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs and improvement projects. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will manage maintenance priorities, coordinate contractors where required and be mindful of working within an occupied care environment, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining a safe and fully functional setting at all times.
What We Are Looking For- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
- Experience managing maintenance operations or projects
- Good knowledge of general building, electrical and repair work
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage workload, priorities and external contractors
- A proactive and reliable approach
