Manor House Care Home is a large, purpose built service providing tailored care for up to 125 residents across several specialist divisions. Within our 40 bed Complex Dementia Unit, we provide specialist dementia care in a structured and supportive environment for residents living with advanced cognitive needs, focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.
As Assistant Cook, you will support the kitchen team within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. You will assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure food safety procedures are followed at all times. Working as part of the team, you will help prepare meals that meet individual dietary needs, including modified or specialist diets where required. You will also support with deliveries, storage and kitchen organisation, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and well maintained. Working in a structured environment, you will contribute to the smooth day to day running of the kitchen while supporting a positive dining experience for residents.
