You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate team shifts, ensuring smooth running and positive atmosphere.
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility, prioritising dignity and independence.
- Oversee medication ordering, administration and documentation, maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals and team members.
- Foster a team ethos, respect diversity and promote a supportive environment.
- Welcome visitors and show prospective residents and families around the home.
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells, assessing situations and providing or calling for assistance as needed.
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments and case notes reflecting residents’ needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and e‑learning to develop personally.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, including COSHH, and raise concerns to management.
What We’re Looking For
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or an experienced Care Assistant working towards Level 3.
- Practical Medication Administration competencies.
- Leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate, delegate and develop a team.
- Compassionate nature – kind, caring, good sense of fun and commitment to person‑centred care.
