Responsibilities

  • As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
  • You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.
  • Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
  • You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
  • Medication administration training with competency is essential.
  • Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
