Mearns View is more than just a care home, it’s a warm, vibrant community in the heart of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. Purpose-built and beautifully designed, our 67-bed luxury home offers specialist Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care. As we prepare to open our final unit and welcome more residents into our home (currently at 38 of our 67 capacity), we’re looking for a confident and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to lead our care team with heart, professionalism, and purpose.

We offer:
- £13.60 per hour.
- Full-time roles (33–44 hours) on day or night shifts.

As a Senior Care Assistant:
You’ll take pride in leading by example. From mentoring junior staff and coordinating shifts to supporting with medication and hands-on care, you’ll set the tone for your team and help us maintain the respectful, person-centred environment our residents deserve.
You’ll be the steady hand that helps guide our care team through every shift ensuring clear communication, smooth transitions, and a warm, welcoming home where residents feel safe, seen, and valued. Whether it’s updating care plans, talking with families, or stepping in with gentle support, you’ll be trusted to lead with compassion and confidence.
