Our brand-new, luxury service is set in the small village of Crow, which is very close to Ringwood. We provide quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 72 residents.
Due to the ongoing success and growth of Yarnley House Care Home, we have the exciting opportunity to complete our Senior Care Team.
Senior Care Assistant Contract
- £14.99 per hour
- 24.5 - 49 hours per week
- Paid PVG/DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
Role Overview
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands-on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
We Are Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
- Medication administration training with competency is essential
- Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
