Lead with Compassion at a Specialist Dementia and Mental Health Care Home
Our care home provides high-quality, specialist care for up to 75 residents living with dementia and mental health conditions. We believe in creating a nurturing, inclusive community where each resident is valued, supported, and respected.
We are now looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) who shares our passion for outstanding care. If you are dedicated, compassionate, and ready to make a genuine difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Do
- Craft personalised care plans – Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans that reflect each person’s unique needs
- Ensure accuracy – Record daily care and observations with precision, ensuring clear and legal documentation
- Lead with confidence – Organise and guide your team at the start of every shift, promoting a positive and focused working environment
- Support smooth transitions – Lead effective shift handovers and maintain continuity of care
- Monitor health – Conduct regular observations and address individual healthcare needs with care and attention
- Administer medications – Follow MAR charts and protocols to safely administer medications
- Build relationships – Develop strong, trust-based relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Promote independence – Support residents in daily activities, fostering independence wherever possible
- Act on feedback – Respond to concerns and suggestions to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
- Champion dignity and respect – Uphold each resident’s right to be treated with compassion, understanding, and dignity
- Encourage engagement – Facilitate social interaction and activities to support a vibrant, welcoming community
- Prioritise safety – Ensure a safe environment for residents and staff at all times
- Support nutrition – Monitor hydration and nutrition needs, particularly for residents at risk
- Respond to emergencies – Be prepared to act quickly and effectively when needed, using reflective practice to continuously improve
What We’re Looking For
- A Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
- Previous care home experience is an advantage, but not essential – we value passion, empathy, and a desire to grow
- A calm, caring nature and the ability to build genuine connections with residents, families, and team members
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to care
