Our modern, traditionally built care home situated in the rural town of Radstock will provide luxury accommodation for 50 residents. We will specialise in Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care.

Contract: £16.20 per hour

Contracted to: 0 hours per week

Benefits: Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Role Overview: As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. This is a role where your cooking has real impact, bringing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing. You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day-to-day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a strong work-life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high quality food in a rewarding environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and reliable approach
