Gilmerton Neurological Suite is located in Edinburgh's Moredun area and provides nursing and social care for younger adults with a brain injury or other neurological conditions for up to 15 residents.

About the Role:
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you’ll support residents in achieving their mobility and rehabilitation goals. Your role will include:
Assisting with the delivery of physiotherapy programmes and exercise sessions
Supporting residents with mobility, balance, and strength exercises
Helping to maintain therapy equipment and accurate resident records
Encouraging and motivating residents to participate in activities promoting physical wellbeing
About You:
Kind, patient, and compassionate with good communication skills
Enthusiastic about supporting older adults in a care setting
Able to follow guidance and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience in care or therapy support is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
