Situated in the rural town of Radstock, our modern, traditionally built care home will provide luxury accommodation for up to 50 residents, offering high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care. We are proud to be creating a warm, elegant and supportive environment where residents feel at home — and where every member of our team is truly valued.
We are now looking for a caring and confident Senior Care Assistant to join us in leading one of our residential units. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar role who is ready to take the next step in their care career and play a key role in shaping outstanding care.
What we offer:

Your role:
As Senior Care Assistant, you will lead the team on your unit and deliver high quality, person-centred care. You will provide hands-on support to residents, oversee daily routines, and ensure documentation is kept up to date. You will mentor junior team members and support the wellbeing, independence and dignity of every resident.
You will:
- Write and maintain personalised care plans
- Lead handovers and supervise medication administration
- Support GP reviews and liaise with families and professionals
- Guide, mentor and motivate your care team
- Foster a calm, respectful and inclusive care environment
- Uphold regulatory standards and best practice in all documentation
What we are looking for:
We are seeking someone with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum (Level 3 preferred), and previous experience in a Senior or Team Leader care role. You will be a compassionate leader who communicates clearly, motivates others, and delivers care with kindness and confidence.
