Marchmont Care Home is a welcoming and modern service located in the leafy residential area of Port Glasgow, offering high-quality Residential and Nursing care for up to 51 residents. Our dedicated team is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we care for.

We are now looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated individuals to join our care team as Care Assistants. Whether you have years of experience or are just beginning your journey in care, if you have a warm heart and a willingness to learn, we will support you every step of the way.

What We Offer

  • Β£12.70 per hour
  • Contracted to 33 hours per week
  • Free onsite parking, Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily routines, encouraging independence, and providing personal care with dignity and kindness. You will follow personalised care plans and help create a safe, sociable, and supportive environment where residents feel valued and at home. Whether assisting with meals, providing emotional support, or simply offering a friendly smile, every interaction will help improve someone’s day.

About You

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is ideal, but not essential
  • No previous care experience required – full training will be provided
  • You are compassionate, patient and committed to delivering excellent care
  • A positive attitude and team spirit are essential
  • You are willing to learn and eager to make a meaningful difference
