Glencorse Care Home is a purpose built care home in Penicuik, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 54 residents. Since opening in November, the home has established an excellent reputation, becoming one of the top rated care homes in the region on Carehome.

As Glencorse continues to grow and open additional units, exciting opportunities have become available following internal promotions within the team. Known for its positive atmosphere, strong teamwork and approachable leadership, it is a place where staff feel valued, supported and encouraged to develop.

  • Contract £15.00 per hour
  • Contracted to 45 hours per week
  • Dayshift and nightshift available
  • Shift times: 7:45am to 8:00pm and 7:45pm to 8:00am
  • Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you achieve a better work life balance and plan ahead.
  • Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
  • Meals provided whilst on shift
  • Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme
  • Monthly staff wellbeing initiatives including beautician visits, neck massages and pamper sessions
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
  • Ongoing training
