Our care home, based in Heath Hayes, provides residential care for 33 adults with complex mental and physical health needs.
Contract: £12.71 per hour
Full Time Shift Times: 07:30AM - 21:00PM
Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking. 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).
Role Overview: As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person centred support to individuals living with complex mental health needs within a structured and specialist care environment. You will play an important role in helping individuals feel safe, supported and valued while promoting emotional wellbeing, independence and stability. Working closely with the wider care team, you will support individuals with daily routines, personal care where required, meaningful engagement and emotional wellbeing while ensuring support plans are followed safely and consistently. You will build positive relationships with residents, recognise changes in behaviour or mental wellbeing and respond appropriately to help maintain a calm, supportive and therapeutic environment.
