La Fontana Dementia Nursing Home is a purpose-built, innovative care home nestled in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We provide specialist Dementia and Nursing care for up to 76 residents, and we are looking for a proactive, inspiring Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents. This isn’t just a cleaning role; it’s an opportunity to lead a team, shape operations, and create a welcoming, safe environment that residents are proud to call home.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and inspire the housekeeping team, setting high standards and fostering a positive, motivated culture.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff, helping them develop skills and achieve their potential.
- Plan and delegate daily cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping operations efficiently.
- Ensure quality and consistency, inspecting rooms and communal areas regularly.
