Job Description

Mosswood Care Home in Linwood provides expert 24-hour nursing care for older adults living with dementia or physical disabilities. We're currently seeking compassionate local candidates to join us in providing top-quality support and engaging activities that make a real difference in residents' lives.Maintenance Officer Contract £14.00 per hourContracted to Full time hours per weekPaid PVG, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times. This is a hands on role with responsibility, where your practical skills and proactive approach will directly support the safety, comfort and overall environment.You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination where required.
