Bower Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Linlithgow, opening in Summer 2026. The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

  • £23.80 per hour
  • Full Time & Part Time contracts available
  • Dayshift & Nightshift Available
  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
  • Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a brand new care home from the very beginning, joining a completely new team and helping shape the clinical standards, culture and day to day environment as the service grows. Commissioning projects offer a genuinely rewarding experience, giving you the chance to build strong working relationships, welcome new residents into the home and play an active role in creating a well led and supportive service.

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in setting the tone across your shift, creating a calm and supportive environment where both residents and colleagues feel valued, respected and cared for. Supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, you will help establish strong clinical practices, guide the wider care team and contribute towards building a positive workplace culture within the home. Combining clinical expertise with leadership, you will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication, monitor changes in physical and mental health and respond promptly to changing needs to ensure safe, effective and person centred care at all times.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
  • Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment.
