Bower Care Home is a brand new, purpose built care home in Linlithgow, opening in Summer 2026. The home will provide residential, dementia, nursing and respite care within a modern, well designed environment, offering a unique opportunity to join a new team and help shape the service from the outset.

Contract: £12.71 per hour
Full Time
Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

Joining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the kitchen environment, team culture and day to day dining experience as the service develops. As part of the team from the outset, you will play an important role in creating a clean, organised and welcoming kitchen where high standards and teamwork are valued. As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
